The project Pegasus

RFSL Ungdom runs the project Pegasus: sex for compensation among young LGBTQ youth. The project is financed by Allmänna Arvsfonden and will run until April 2017. The aim of the project is to improve the physical health and the mental well being among young LGBTQ individuals in the age group 15-25 who have experience of having sex for compensation. The project offers information and support to young LGBTQ individuals with experience of having sex for compensation. At pegasus.se young people with experience of or thoughts about having sex for compensation can chat with staff from RFSL Ungdom's office to get support, guidance and when needed be referred elsewhere. The staff has education and knowledge in these issues. The project also offers training for people who in their work meet young people, for example in the social services, mental health care, student health, youth clinics and non-governmental organisations. You can read more about the training here.
